The highest standards of food safety are essential when processing fish. The Morpol plant, all equipment and all protocols were developed and are maintained to deliver the highest practical standards of food safety. This includes regular training, continual renovation of processing areas, equipment designs that ensure easy and complete cleaning with no hidden surfaces and routine microbiological analyses in our own on-site laboratory.

Traceability

Our traceability system enables us to trace back from the final pack to details of how and when we processed it, and back again to the original suppliers with specific batch numbers and dates. The origin of all ingredients is recorded on arrival. They are tracked through the entire process together with information on dates, times, destinations and customers, all linked with the final product lot code.
