Marinated salmon
Marinated products are prepared with an increasing choice of herb and spice options, many of which are seasonal.
Gravadlax
Atlantic salmon from Norway and Scotland is marinated in a mixture of dill, sugar and salt and, after an appropriate curing period, is carefully cut into thin slices.
Gravad sockeye
The sockeye fillets have firm flesh and a naturally low fat content which make them a favoured delicacy among fish lovers. The light, natural flavour is enhanced through brief, gentle cold-smoking over beech wood. After that, the fillets are cured in a marinade of fresh dill. Curing and smoking times are individually adjusted according to the natural quality of the sockeye and are carefully guarded secrets of our master smokers. The result is a healthy, natural salmon delicacy.
Venetian salmon
This sophisticated delicacy is prepared from fresh salmon fillet marinated with the herbs and spices that slowly seep into the fillet during the curing process allowing a delicate flavour to develop fully. After the appropriate time, the salmon fillet is carefully cut into slices. Variations in the herbs and spices produce flavoursome Tuscan salmon and tangy Creole salmon.
Marinated salmon portions – with tomato, herbs or onions
This is an ideal meal component in a health-conscious and well-balanced diet. Atlantic salmon portions are marinated and freshly frozen in a microwaveable pack to ensure the flavour and freshness are locked in. Preparation by steaming in the microwave is quick and simple.
